She giggled and got a huge smile anytime anyone said "Happy Birthday" and would even try to sing "Happy Birthday" to herself.
We didn't do anything grandiose today, because we didn't think it would make much difference to her. So, I let her do puzzles, which is her favorite thing to do. She played at the church while I exercised. I let her help with her birthday cake. She played at a friend's house while I tried to go to a meeting (that was cancelled but I wasn't notified). Then, she played outside. Perfect day for her!
She eats pretty much everything, so we didn't know what her "favorite" meal was. She really doesn't eat anything when we go out to eat. So, we had pancakes for dinner! She enjoyed that.
She loved getting presents. She got clothes for the next six months, puzzles, a card, and a train table. She's got more gifts coming, because my parents were unable to be here tonight and one of her gifts hasn't come yet.
She was very excited to be sung to and just giggled the whole time! She did try to blow out her candles. Scott finally helped, so I'm not sure she actually blew one out by herself, but she didn't notice. She was just happy to be trying!
We love Audrey's spazzy personality, her smile, her happy self, and everything about her. She's been a great joy to have in our family!

Happy Birthday Audrey! Love Nettie
So fun! I can't believe you only have 16 days left to go with this pregnancy. Good luck with everything!
happy birthday to her!!! How fun:) That cake looks so good, yummy!
I was scrolling through the pictures and noticed the one with you, kneeling by Audrey, pregnant, so unaware...and started laughing again. By the way, the cake looks and sounds delicious. I'll have to get the recipe from you when I go out. I can't wait to meet the twins! (and see everyone else).
