Remembering
Remember what it was like to do something YOU like? I was reminded this week when I borrowed a book that is intended for adults to read. It doesn't have pictures on every page that dwarf the number of words. It wasn't written by Dr. Seuss, Disney, or Berenstein people. I LOVED it! I'm really making it a goal to read again. While I'm doing that, I'm going to play the piano again. Well, I'll sight read stuff and pretend I know how to play. I don't mean go all out and actually practice like I did when I was in high school. I just mean enjoy myself. Aahhh....

Yeah for you! What did you read?
Good for you! My favorite reads lately have been the Hunger Game series - SOOO Good. It's amazing how much we need that me time. I know I have felt like I have lost myself in mothering. Not a bad thing, but it is nice to remember yourself every once in a while.
Way to have a tiny bit of YOU time. As a mom, you can't even go to the bathroom alone, so those rare moments of reading or piano-ing, or anything, are so refreshing.
