Happy Pioneer Day!

We went to the local parade this morning. We got there about an hour early to have a good place to sit. Some family joined us once they were able to get there. Richard and Audrey were great and just colored and ate snacks while we waited.Once the parade started, Audrey was content to sit on my sister's lap and eat candy. Richard enjoyed collecting candy.

We then went up the canyon and had lunch. The kids threw rocks in the stream and played in the dirt. Both kids, but especially Audrey, got quite dirty. Isn't that what kids are supposed to do in the mountains? We had a good time!
