At home

We came home from the hospital on Thursday night. Richard and Audrey were so excited! They were excited at the hospital when they saw us on Wednesday, but I think things were just so much more real to them once the babies and I came home. They kept petting the babies and trying to give them their binkies! Audrey even had a hard time paying attention to the fact she was getting another birthday present. She was more interested in the babies!

They fight over who gets to get diapers for me and Richard often wants to hold one of the babies. Audrey is always giving me their binkies or trying to give them back their binkie if it falls out while they're sleeping. Audrey wakes up in the morning and says, "See babies?" We're relieved they seem so accepting of Peter and Marie.

We are currently just overwhelmed with the responses of people. We've received so many offers to help make up our lack of baby supplies. So many members of our ward want to provide dinners or play dates. I am overwhelmed with the attention and people's willingness to be of service. I'm not used to that! We've had posts from people I've never met before or people I haven't really seen or talked to for years. I want to thank any of you who have offered your help and well wishes.
