Shed

After much sweat and a even more frustration, we have a shed! yea for cleaning out my garage!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all you wonderful father's out there! I'm so grateful for Scott and the great father he is. I love that's he'll wrestle with the kids and play with them. I love that he loves being a father. I love that he helps with the kids.
I'm grateful for my own father and the amazing example he's been to me. I love that he's so patient. I love his dedication to the gospel. I love how he's never afraid to show us he loves us.

Funeral

We had my grandma's funeral yesterday. She looked very peaceful. I had the opportunity to help dress her. That was very touching and I could feel her presence. That really helped give me closure. The funeral was wonderful. I was able to see all the members of my side of the family. I also saw some cousins that I haven't seen since my grandpa's funeral over 13 years ago. I love renewing relationships with people. I love being with family.
I'm grateful for my testimony of the gospel to give me perspective so that I know this isn't the end of my relationship with my grandma. What a blessing to know we can be together again!

Scott's birthday

Scott had a birthday! We didn't do anything that great, because it was on a Sunday. He was gone the week before on a campout and then I worked the night before his birthday. So, needless to say, it was pretty low key. He got some movies and a new watch for his birthday. He went swimming with his watch on at scout camp and the waterproof seal failed.
We had family over for cake.

My Grandma

My dear Grandma passed away last night. She has been hoping for this for a long time. She is finally with her dear husband and free from the pain of mortal life. I will miss her dearly and hope to follow her example of righteousness and enduring to the end. I'm sad, because I will miss her. However, I know she's finally free and in a glorious place. I know I will see her again! I'm so grateful for my testimony of the gospel to help me feel at peace.
